Todd and I escaped into the bush for a bit on Sunday. That’s what they call the forest area down-under: “The Bush”. We hiked through the Kaitoke Regional Park, an area about 40 minutes from Wellington filled with native plants, song birds and uphill climbs. We had a great time and loved the large trees filled with epiphytes and leafy ferns. In a bizarre coincidence, along the path we met a woman who had just moved to Wellington for a 2-year post-doc at another government research institute. You never know when parallel lives cross paths. Check out more pherny-photos by clicking on the fern.
